Spring flowers

For me, the colours of spring ate yellow, white and mauve. I see these colours in the spring flowers – starting with snowdrops, then crocuses, daffodils, primroses, anemones, pearl hyacinths.. and I now have violets and forget-me-nots in the garden.
Just as we have out of season fruit and vegetables readily available nowadays, it’s the same story with flowers – some grown in high tech greenhouses in Holland, and others flown in from all over the world.
