spring flowers. perennial flowers
This fab April weather has been so inspiring. I’ve been watching the early cherry plum blossom with their black branches blow away, now replaced by clusters of green leaves. It’s a great contrast to the lime green of the weeping willows on the riverbank.
The birds are singing furiously at dawn, & the mallards were quacking loudly at my cocker spaniel, warning him not to come too near their baby chicks!
The daffodils & primroses are dying back, replaced by bluebells & forget-me-nots. The apple blossom on the tree in my garden is so fresh & clean.
It’s lovely to pick a few flowers while out walking. I put them in a little vase on my kitchen table. This week, it’s bluebells, forget-me-nots, grape hyacinths, anemones & rosemary.
The flowers are always half a season ahead at Stems, so we have clematis, ageratum, campanula & stocks already.
Give us a call on 020 7831 6776, or email janet@stemsfloraldesign if you’d like to send flowers & brighten someone’s day. We still have our £25 offer for a bouquet delivered in Holborn, WC1.
