Sicilian Avenue, London WC1

Stems floristĀ is in the beautiful Sicilian Avenue, London WC1. If you come & visit us, you can have coffee or lunch at one of the lovely cafes there. It is pedestrianised, so it’s like a little haven in central London. You can see photos of the avenue on this website.

With autumn fast approaching, I’m looking forward to the change in flowers, all the autumnal shades, and hopefully, plenty of that golden sunshine that we sometimes enjoy at this time of year.

I’m holding a bouquet of garden flowers in this photo – clematis, hollyhocks, mint, lavender and poppy heads.

Jan founded Stems in London WC1 in 1985, after changing her career as a teacher/translator, & training as a florist in Sweden. Her unique style, inspired by country walks, has been described as natural & wild, but with depth & sophistication. From a simple, tiny posy to grand events at St. James's Palace, Jan loves creating beautiful arrangements.
