Edible flowers

send flowersThis morning was filled with gorgeous sunshine between showers, & the varying shades of green of the trees looked amazing, with the cream & white flowers of the hawthorn, horse chestnuts & the elder.

I’ll take a closer look at the elderflowers this weekend, & see when they’ll be ready for picking, to make a batch of elderflower cordial. It’s very easy to makeĀ  – lemons, sugar, water….& great fun too.

We’re doing wedding flowers at The Royal Society of the Arts this weekend. What a fantastic venue for a wedding!
