We’ve been working with this celosia today – textured like velvet & a vibrant pink. It looks amazing against these deep, aubergine dahlias.
I have fond memories of my grandfather, getting the scissors from the kitchen drawer & leading me, holding hands, into his garden to let me choose some dahlias he’d grown. It was like a magical treat! I don’t ever remember them in the vase at home – just the ritual of choosing & cutting them.
