Send Easter flowers

purple & white spring

Easter is late this year. That means we can hope for better weather – maybe a barbecue, a day in the garden, with lighter evenings.
Chocolate eggs don’t make the perfect gift for everyone. Of course, I am biased, but I’d rather receive flowers! If you’re invited for lunch or dinner, take flowers instead.
I love the seasonal flowers of spring. I also love the colours of wild flowers – purples, mauves, whites & green. Bluebells & forget-me-nots, violets & cow parsley are all flowering now. The scent is gentle, & not as potent as those flowers that bloom in high summer.
I made a purple & white bouquet for a walk in customer this week. She waited in silence as I made it. I always wonder what people are thinking as they stand, watching me create something for them. Some people chat happily throughout, & some say nothing. As she left she said, ” You are a flower magician”. It made my day!
