The garden has looked a bit sad at times this summer – 30 degrees of heat & sunshine made the lawn look like straw. Luckily for me, the water table is high in this area, & my large shrubs have a natural source.
I’m looking forward to the arrival of the autumn berries. These are rosehips. The sedum, also pictured, is already in flower. It’s a long-lasting succulent, lovely in arrangements, adding texture.
